I like this place because the people are super friendly. Its a rock place, cant get too excited but they seem to have a good selection and are always willing to help.. we picked up some flagstone a few weeks back.

Ordered clean crushed stone. They delivered AND charged for 500lbs of extra stone. Now I have to find a place to bury 500lbs of stone. Customer service said they are allowed to do this and would come pick it up if I paid another delivery fee. Shady practice. Also the "clean" stone was about 10% dirt.

Awesome experience! Super easy process getting some pea gravel! Took 10 minutes! Nice people! Great prices saved so much vs Home Depot!

Started off great, but they cannot deliver certain products because of high demand, though they have them in stock. They can use a third-party delivery person, which makes absolutely no sense. The third-party delivery person they recommended gave us one price and then morning we were scheduled to have it picked up and delivered gave us a significantly higher price with a bunch of fees that weren’t discussed. We ended up straightening things out and hiring our own company to pick it up and that’s when things started to go south. I noticed they charged me almost $500 extra. When I reached out, they were apologetic and fixed it. Three days later I also noticed another charge on my card of which I don’t have a receipt because I wasn’t there nor did I purchase anything. They cannot keep their transactions straight. They are a crap show. Keep your receipts and watch your credit card statements!

So upset about this. We had a large amount of garden soil dropped off and filled up our raised beds and pots with it and wet it down. It’s CLAY. Hardened up like a rock. Such a waste of money. I’m so disappointed. Just buy bags of garden soil, people! Do not purchase large quantities of soil from Ewing. Please see the photos attached.
